Reviews

1.South Beach Court. Fremantle

Quick review> “Great location by the beach. Backboard and rim with nets and coloured floor and lines all a little faded by the elements. Car parking, cafe, parklands all included.

This is Perth's "LA Venice beach" basketball court, a must visit.”

2. Elizabeth Quay Court. Perth

Quick review> MIA, missing in action, the court is stated as permanently closed on the website. Recent archive pictures look great and I was hoping to see at least the coloured floor remaining, but no, all ripped up and boarded up, and looks like its got construction happening all around.

Hopefully it will come back better than ever.

Google Reviews from the court years ago:

  • *It was lovely, I took my Nephew to play basketball & my Niece to ride on the little Carousel.

  • *Would be better if space was used better and another basketball court was built

  • *BBall in the heart of the city

3. Donnie Taco Half Court. Kings park/west perth

Quick review> “Coffee and basketball in the same location or as I'm calling it "Brews n Buckets" what more could you ask for. High quality set up with the support structure, clear backboard and flooring. Its Perth's version of "the cage NYC" A must visit!!!”

4.Scarborough Beach Court. Scarborough

Quick review>

“Great beach location and sunset views outshines this quarter court. Concrete floor colour fading from exposure. Infinet on the hoop is very durable. Great atmosphere, sunset markets, car parking, playground, grassy area plus Amphitheatre. Premium location but only an ok court.”

5.Laika coffee. Lathlain

Quick review> “Fun key size court to play while you have coffee or as I'm calling it "Buckets & Brews". Vibrant painted colours add to the experience of this court. Court looks like it was once a car park so the floor is uneven. Come for the Brew, stay to get Buckets. Its a win, win :)”

6.Wellington Square Courts. East Perth

Quick review> “Full court + half court. Vibrant painted floor with great shoe grip (starting to show signs of wear). Unique hexagon grid backboards (3D printed style) with a chain net. Platinum level parklands with grass oval, BBQs, playground and public toilets. Paid street parking.”

7.McCallum Park Basketball Courts. Vic Park

Quick review> “3 x Full courts ready for day or night games. Courts are showing some signs of wear (red coloured court in better condition) but every team needs a veteran and this court can make every game add to your experience.”

8.Mardalup Park Court. East Perth

Quick review> “Great Location with river and stadium views but the court is lacking in a few areas. Confirm the ground is not level. Playing surface is a rough grit (recommend not to wear translucent sole shoes) Now there is paid parking :( Bring the family first and the game ball second.”

9.Herb Graham rec centre. Mirrabooka

Quick review> “2 x Full Outdoor courts open to the public. Vibrant floor colours with great shoe grip and clean backboards with chain net rims. Very close free parking and indoor courts and facilities attached. 1 x outdoor court available for hire.”

10.Bendat basketball centre (new perry lake stadium) INDOOR. Floreat

Quick review> “Polished and clean floor, windows let in natural light, ceiling fans regulate temperature.

Perth's #1 -accessible to the hoop playing public- platinum indoor training stadium. It was a honour, neigh, a privilege to play here.”
